Ok right now (1938) the TFL site is announcing Circle and H&C as Severe Delays, due to a faulty train earlier at Bromley-by-Bow.
I could understand this but apparently the District is running a good service! So how is it that a line that doesn't even go near the station with the problem, has severe delays. And a line that only about half the trains (about 3-4tph) go through that station has severe delays. And the main line through this station, with most trains (about 12tph) is running a good service???
Confused?... I would be if I was a Circle Line punter!

Well the H&C probably had some trains stuck out in east London, that then gives some gaps on the westbound to Hammersmith (though trains being turned at Moorgate) and then some short meal reliefs. And if the District had blocking back on the eastbound into The City, then the Circles would also be delayed coming back from the Dark Side. Of course they may also be short of spare Train Ops.... etc which is hampering the service recovery.

Seems like they blame District Stations for the Circle problems. Other day it was a problem at Parson's Green affecting Circle but not the District!

JTD - that's the best excuse I've heard in many moons. Perhaps you should enter management.
I just shrug my shoulders and say "I dunno". World Class ME ;D *
* I apologise if personally I've just lost the £250 bonus for us all. I am truly sorry.
