Am surprised that LIVERPOOL ST is on the blinds - the bay was closed off years ago, and although it is technically possible to reverse an A stock in the outer rail platform, it requires tripping past the starting signal, so a lot of faffing around. It would only be used in very exceptional circumstances.
Unless the blinds haven't been updated for many years, I can't see why they would keep it on the list.
The only place missing from the blinds I can think of where Met trains could be turned is KINGS CROSS.

Liverpool street would be helpful for when Aldgate is closed to pax, but trains may still be reversed there. When A stock ran from the Met main to te ELL, would it ever do so in service as far as Liverpool Street?

Nope - A stock transfers were always out of service. Was this because they ran as 4-car?

I believe the original blinds as delivered (with narrow lettering) included both CIRCLE LINE and HAMMERSMITH. Be nice to have this confirmed.

Was this because they ran as 4-car? I would suspect it had more to do with the fact that all stock transfer trains: - were RR in the working timetable (runs if required)
- could be 4 or 8 car (depending on requirements)
- could involve moving defective trains
- liable to cause a hold up whilst being detrained [if in service]
- were only driven by ELL drivers, so they wouldn't have been that familiar with the stopping marks at platforms
So rather than say sometimes we'll run 'em passenger and sometimes we won't, it's just easier to run them all empty.

Trains would reverse in Aldgate platforms out of service if they had LIVERPOOL STREET on the blind-they did during a strike a few years back!
I'd love to know what else is on the blinds!

There is also a blank red display on either end of the blinds which is supposed to be shown if a taillight is not working

Quite possibly. Of course the C stock was designed in 2 car units to enable the upgrade to 8 cars on all subsurface lines...

If the original blinds had Circle Line and Hammersmith on them, why didn't they have destinations at the other end of the H&C like Whitechapel and Barking?

Could the plan have been to rebuild the Circle/H&C for A stock, and run Hammersmith to Aldgate? But even if A stock could fit on the Circle, the door/seating layout on A stock isn't designed for the Circle.

I doubt they would rebuild the tunnels! The seating would work as you say! CP stock was quite happy on the Circle line in 1960, although the F stock would have been better!

Maybe the idea was one standardised blind for all future stocks that would travel on the northern half of the circle?
In much the same way the R stock had Circle Line and Hammersmith Met on them.

The bay at Kings Cross was never used for regular services - from what I recall reading it wasn't electrified.
It was removed and filled in around the early- to mid-60s and simply became a long wide concourse between the platforms. It certainly had gone by the time the Victoria line opened, although it was easy to comprehend where it had been.
The 1988 post-fire work was actually to build the UTS ticket office on the northern side of the concourse, and more recently that office was replaced by the Western tickle hall. The steps to that have completely obliterated the site of the bay.

Only the eastern half of the bay platform was filled in originally. For many years prior to the construction of the Western Ticket Hall there was still a single, unelectrified track connected to the inner rail; this ran for some way along the bay. Most of the rest was filled in as part of the recent works to extend the concourse and add the new steps.
