Hey guys My wish has come true. I have wanted to see a Jubilee Line train terminate at Canary Wharf coming from Stratford and the terminating, then heading back to Stratford. It has finally come true. On Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 of August (lol yeah, I know it's along way away) the Jubilee Line is suspended between Green Park and Canary Wharf!! I know it's not great for other people, but for me it is fab. Does anyone think that most trains coming from Stratford will terminate at North Greenwich? Because altough I am not completely sure on how the trains will reverse at Canary Wharf, won't the process be quite long and slow? Also, how will the trains actually reverse there? Will they go towards Canada Water and stop the rear part of the train just after the crossover that will take it back to the track towards Stratford? Uzair, 12

Judging by the track map, I would guess that trains will arrive in the WB platform at Canary Wharf, detrain and then move towards Canada Water and stop just past the crossover. The driver would then change ends and head east again, arriving in the EB platform via the crossover. Alternatively, they could leave the WB platform, use the crossover and then stop on the EB track, change ends and then enter the EB platform.

I'm not sure why you're so excited about that. Obviously different stroes for different folks.
The last time I did that move, they sent me down to TL13 (which is towards Canada Water) and changed ends there. Then cross over the points towards the eastbound track. It's not exactly exciting. Whatever floats your boat I guess.
In answer to your question as to how long it takes, well, they just have to double end the train. This will speed things up dramatically.

I have only seen it a few times on night shifts, but they always send it across the crossover, into the E/B tunnel, and reverse.

I've always been fascinated with "rare" destinations. Still waiting to see a 92 stock display "Queensway". I bet not many Central drivers have ever reversed there.
Incidentally, I've seen every other destination shown on 92 stock apart from Queensway and Tottenham Court Road. I think there is virtually no chance of seeing the latter, since they would run in service to Holborn, and then shunt back.
