Back bit could well be Oban - looks very similar to a CalMac ferry; although my little brain is suggesting Dunoon as I often went over there to sip GnT in a friends garden of an afternoon.

It's been a while since I've been there, but is that a Tyne Ferry in the picture? If it is, then it's one of the Shields, probably South Shields as I remember the North side being more built up than that.

Actually, I think that this looking at South Shields from North Shields and its my photo labelling (from when I took the photo in October 2005) that is wrong. Well done pgb.
