An interesting idea! Never actually played the Berlin simulator, but the screenshots looked impressive!
The screenshots thus far on this simulation also look impressive, but I'm a bit worried about it being a standalone simulator. Having said that, the more train sims available the better! ;D

If you click on the link, you'll see that it's being updated regularly.
The Berlin route, Colin, is very good. Less advanced in some ways with BVE - eg: no change from dark / light in tunnels stations etc, and the speedo is out of whack on one of the stock, but apart from that, it's very good.

This isn't on the English news page, so you will have to translate it from German: www.world-of-subways.com/index.php?id=178What it says is that a lot of people voted for London for the second route, but they are doing a Berlin route next because they can get it out quicker.

They've already got a Berlin route out though... Berlin Subway - lines U2 and U8. Unless they're gonna extend it by adding more lines to it?

You can see their point though.. if they've already done all the research and got all the textures and everything, will be a lot faster!

i'd love to see the northern with the 1995 stock for it I think a sub-surface line would be more interesting because you see the other trains more, and most deep-level stations look the same (apart from the tiling).

I got it last week (I had ordered the box version), and last sunday, I was doing a WTC-Newark 'shift duty', and there was someone on the track near Exchange Place. I managed to stop in time and got 200 points for avoiding an accident. I can't start from 33rd St at the moment because the game crashes, but there should be a patch soon: forum.tml-studios.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=24&t=412
