Can anyone please help with answers to the following questions?
Following the Moorgate collision on 28/2/75, many measures were introduced signalling-wise to prevent a recurrence. These were introduced within a few weeks but have effectively continued ever since. For example, the Jubilee Line terminus at Stratford is an example of post-Moorgate, in that trains are no longer allowed up to the end of the line.
1. The stopping mark at Aldwych was moved in "April 1975". It was noted in Rules & Regulations Notive 558 and appeared in the Trafffic Circular after. No exact date can be ascertained.
2. When did Charing Cross sidings get equipped with Track Circuit Interrupters. It is thought they didn't have them when the signalling was commissioned in August 1978.
3. When did New Cross Gate get the 15mph approach-controlled trainstop in the platform area for arriving trains - when the line reopened in March 1998?
4. When was approach-control put on the home signal B22 at Shoreditch, when were the two approach-controlled trainstops in the platform area for arriving trains commissioned (when reopened in September 1998?) and also the Track Circuit Interrupter.
5. When were the Track Circuit Interrupters commissioned in Walthamstow Central sidings? I have 1993 dates for Brixton, Victoria and King's Cross.
6. Did No.21 siding at Woodford (west of station on the WB side) ever have the two fixed red lights and fixed trainstop? Also did the main sidings also have two fixed red lights and fixed trainstop and was there ever a approach-controlled trainstop in the bay platform area for arriving trains ? Dates for all these are needed.
Many thanks
