Due to a broken link, I've brought forward the pictures from tomorrow. There are four locations to identify, each having a link with the others, can you spot this too? For ease, the locations are named A, B, C and D. You may want to work as a team for this, or go solo. *Click any image for a larger version*

Well, they could all be on the Jubilee if B is, however if B is Victoria, then maybe the link is all have been (or are being) reconstructed to be accessible?

C is Westminster and I'll guess at Bond Street for D.

I thought A was Tower Gateway....could be Stratford I suppose.
B looks familiar, but I cant place it.
C does indeed look like Westminster, escalators from the Jubilee line.
D is definitely Angel. Just behind the camera is the short bank of escalators, whilst round the bend is the long bank of escalators.

I'm going for A=Stratford - surely not Tower Gateway, which doesn't have AC electrified tracks on both sides of the platform.

Are we looking for stations that have passageways or other parts closed off?

The only one I've got a handle on is C - definitely North Greenwich with those blue mosaic columns!

A - Stratford B - Victoria C - North Greenwich D - Angel
Stratford is the only station where you don't have to use an escalator to reach the platforms.

The locations have been identified, the link has not. Station A: Stratford - Eastbound Central Line waiting room Station B: Victoria - Victoria Line concourse. Station C: North Greenwich - stairs and escalator to platform 1 Station D: Angel - Passage between escalators. *Click any picture for a larger version*

This isn't related to the platforms.

I think they all hold some kind of record... a) 4 different types of electrification - most on the combine b) Busiest station c) Am stumped here, but possibly busiest single hour or something due to some event at the O2... d) Longest Escalator Best I can do anyway!!

Good thinking, but not the answer I'm looking for. The link is a historical one.
As an aside, is there any other station in the country with 4 (or more?) types of electrification?

They all have been termini at various points in their history, prior to subsequent extensions.
Although Stratford was the limit of passenger working before the trains worked empty to Drapers Field, so not strictly a terminus.
How long was Jubilee Line (Extension) WTT 1 in force? Covered three trains shuttling Stratford - North Greenwich.

Spot on, they have all be temporary termini - Stratford (Central Line: 1946-1947) Victoria (Victoria Line: 1969-1971) North Greenwich (Jubilee Line: May - September 1999). Angel (Northern Line: 1901-1907)
(information from CULG)

Damn, I knew the link then! I thought the answer was much more difficult! Sometimes the answer is simple, other times its difficult. I try and include a mix, but I'm mostly useless at guessing which will be which correct!
