what is new in the Museum?
Pictures or Reports?

Have a look at the Very Latest Photography section on my Fotopic site for photos taken during the staff open day on Saturday 10 November cjw.fpic.co.uk/The museum wasn't quite finished (12 days prior to opening to the general public), but the vast majority of the exhibits were there - just a shame that the RT is now missing and the futuristic section is a complete waste of time IMO

There alot of mistakes on there - - Bakerloo is missing Harrow & Wealdstone - West end branch of Northern goes over the SSL lines - Hammersmith & City line goes to Aldgate -The Moorgate to Finsbury Park goes via Old Street, not avoiding it -Stamford Brook's missing -Where Wood lane station on H&C, due to open next year as well as the missing Goldhawk Road station? -Why is Ongar branch on there for a 2008 map? (if its old line there there's more disused lines and stations missing) -High Street Kensington 'ticks' are wromg compared to Bayswater as well as Aldgate East & Stepney Green -Debden & Theydon Bois are missing there 'ticks' -Stations south of Clapham Common are close but theres a gap with Common and North stations -North Weald has its 'tick' but no name -Gap between Hampstead and Belsize Park The map in general looks like an badly adpated map from the current one minus the DLR & OG. Spaceing issues on the Picadilly north of Finsbury Park is sorted but various other places it isnt.

Maybe there's some things LU aren't telling us about their plans for next year Good news for those who live in Ongar (or work there). Not so great for those living near H&W, Old street, Stamford brook etc.

Also it's probably not very good for anyone wanting to get to Heathrow T123 as it seems to have wandered off somewhere...

Spacing issues on the Piccadilly north of Finsbury Park is sorted but various other places it isn't. Sorry - have been really busy at work (+ going to see Bill Bailey last night) so I hadn't seen this until now Those photos are of a projected images detailing the growth of LU displaying between 1862 (nothing) to 2008 in the LT Museum (as was on display during the staff open day on the 10th November). If indeed you are correct (I am in no way questioning your knowledge BTW) I have to say that I am shocked that the LT Museum have got it so wrong

Such a shame the writer doesn't seem to know the difference between 'tube' tunnels and sub surface tunnels.
