First, sorry if this is in the wrong place, but it says this is for any Central Line matters. Anyhow, I had a weird dream last night that I was waiting for the Central at Mile End. When the train came. The doors didn't open. I pressed the PDC button, and they did! I even heard the original 4 long beeps for opening doors! I didn't hear a DVA at Mile End, but on approach to Liverpool Street, it did play. On the way, I thought the train might still have the old Janet Mayo DVA! But it didn't. It was the horrible DLR DVA! Then I woke up. Any comments?

When I was 7, I dreamed that an A stock train was leaving Ruislip Gardens--don't recall if it was heading toward West Ruislip or South Ruislip; I also don't recall if it was 4 or 8 cars. Anyhow, the outside of the cars said "Seneca" where you would expect to see the car numbers and "London Transport".

Muggins here has dreamt of the Central, stopping at a mysterious station called Bartholomew Road, with similar biscuit and orange coloured tiles to Bethnal Green.
I might have mentioned it previously, so do a search for the imaginary station!

A year or two ago I dreamed that I was travelling on a dilapidated CO/CP along the east end of the green line... It was so vivid, when I woke up I thought that for a few moments it could be genuine!!!

I've had a dream about travelling from Bank to Liverpool Street on the Central Line but it wasn't underground and I was thinking, I thought this part was supposed to be underground. It did a really sharp left-hand turn that made the wheels screech. Then I got out at Liverpool Street and waited on an island platform for the train back. All the Tube journeys I dream about take place overground but I've heard that dreaming about trains in tunnels has a rather dodgy meaning so it's probably good all my dreams are overground really.

I've dreamt - in English (which is quite rare) of a CSLR locomotive pottering around/spotting at Golders - the Driver/Motorman kept complaining about 'all the fresh air'.

I once dreamt someone I know had ordered me some tube-gauge teak garden furniture. No, I don't know why either...

I'm glad it's not just me who has Tube dreams! All my dreams are weird.
Last night I had a dream about being arrested at Watford Junction, I drove there in my dad's car then I suddenly remembered I don't actually have a driving licence (and never did have) so I decided I should get out. I parked it in a really stupid place at the side of the road. Then I went into the station and the police were waiting for me. I was telling them to hurry up and let me through so I could take pictures of Platform 5 and Platform 12 before it got dark and as those platforms don't exist anymore it made matters worse. I was sitting there being interviewed by the police and thinking, I hope this is a dream. I was so relieved when I woke up.

Also, when I was 10, I dreamed that there was a secret tunnel at the end of Baker Street's platform 3 for Bakerloo trains to travel southbound. I also had a dream in those days about a C-stock train stopping at Platform 5 at Baker St with a Chinese buffet aboard.

I haven't driven a train since 1976 yet, occasionally, I still dream about hitting a semi - and it wakes me up every time!

I once dreamt about the tube map, I couldn't remember the station which intersected the Picc and the Lakerboo. It bugged me so much I actually woke up and had to go and get my map out! I have had loads of tube train dreams. Mainly they were a good ten years before I found anyone else to geek out with so it shows how much I was interested in it. I've had loads where the lines cross over in impossible places, and you have to actually cross the lines in order to get to the platforms, dodging the trains en route. I get lots where the map of London is hopelessly distorted, and getting on at, say, Wimbledon delivers you to Hounslow (which is down the line from Mile End on the East London Line ) in a loop which passes via Stanmore. Or that Boris decided that all lines should be red. I've had several where I'm on the front of the train, whooshing along through the tunnels, including one spectacular one where the train burst out into the woods on a high hill at the back of my parents' house, split in two, and swooshed down the hill round these curves in the woods with all my friends cheering and yelling I like tube dreams, me!

6 or 7 yrs ago I dreamed that a green Standard Stock train was in the centre platform at Uxbridge, showing "Earls Court" as a destination.

Strange tube dream of mine involved a train of F Stock (yes, that stuff), don't know which line or station - I boarded, and next thing you know we're off through some goods yard, and climbed over this huge pile of sleepers, crashed through a gate and went rumbling down some street with factory buildings on one side, and promptly disappeared into a tunnelmouth in the middle of the road!
