Does anyone know, how much a single (after 0930 mon-fri or weekend) journey from London Padd to EAB would be on PAYG, with a young persons railcard discount on the Oyster?
I can not seem to find this info on the single fares finder section of tfl.gov.uk
Thanks

Same as a journey from Z1-3 with the same protocols.

With the railcard discount, single fares still cost the same; it's just the capping rates that are reduced.

If you take the tube beyond Paddington, you'll only pay for a single journey. Plus the Oyster fare caps are lower than any Travelcard you can buy, even if you don't have a Railcard. So I can't see why paper tickets would ever be cheaper or better, unless you need to travel west of EAB.

Unless it has changed recently, PAYG is not valid on FGW services from Paddington so you'll have to use a paper ticket or take an indirect journey on the tube. According to the journey planner walking to Lancaster Gate and getting the Central Line from there is 1 minute quicker than taking the Circle or District to Notting Hill Gate and changing there for the Central Line.

I don't pay for Tube or Buses, I have a staff pass Unless it has changed recently, PAYG is not valid on FGW services from Paddington so you'll have to use a paper ticket or take an indirect journey on the tube. And onwards to Paddington, which is now completely gated (all platforms).
That is why I got a one pulse card a while back, because obviously I can't use my staff pass from Ealing to Padd ( a service I use quite frequently ) so I thought I would get a one pluse, add my YP disc, so when they start taking the PAYG on that route I can use it... obviously that won't be happening for a while! Never mind
