Was 1981 when better interchange facilities were created between the Circle/District and the Central Line?

I have worked at NHG and don't remember any features such as the one above. I thought the whole thing was rebuilt in 1959 in one go.

The tiling reminds me of one of the Piccadilly stations opened on the northbound extension in the 1930's--so I will say Southgate.

I should have mentioned that there are two locations involved here.
