Something to do with BR stations going to LU control. 3rd one is definately Queens Park. 1st one is somewhere on east end of the Central. 2nd one possible Greenford... 4th one no idea.

Last one looks like Morden to me.
C is Queens Park. A looks like Newbury Park.
So I'm guessing they're all terminus.

Has Queens Park been taken over by TFL? If so they are all former BR stations that have been taken over by LT/TFL? Apart from Morden of course.

How convinced are we that D is Morden? I've only been there once but remember it being darker inside. This looks like quite an airy canopy. Another suggestion was London Bridge but I'm pretty sure it's not there. Could it be Earl's Court perhaps? That would fit the common link of takeover by TFL wouldn't it?

The locations have been correctly identified, but the link has not been. Here are some slightly different versions of the pictures, along with the locations. I'll leave the link running for now, and see if anyone can spot it from here. Station A: Newbury Park - inner rail platform. Station B: Canning Town - escalators to concourse from JLE. Station C: Queens Park exterior. Station D: Morden - closed platform *Click any image for larger version*

I've just noticed that that is still the modified version of the Morden picture, the unmodified version is below, not that I think it will make any difference to your guessing the link. (SE13 - this was my fault in the answer file, sorry). Station D: Morden - closed platform (click for a larger version)

Is the answer that the trains come to the surface [or more accurately, the stations above are the first/only point where the trains come to the surface] just before entering the stations?

Do all sections have a bit of cut and cover before they finally emerge to the surface?

It's not about cut-and-cover vs tube tunnels

... emerging from tunnel into open air, then?

... emerging from tunnel into open air, then? In combination with Tubeboy's guess I'll give it to you. These are all open-air stations where the next station towards central London is underground.

You can see portals from the platforms? See above for the answer I was looking for. Can you see the portals at Newbury Park? I know you can at the other three.
