Following mention in another thread about the District Line Cab Ride DVDs, I have also got both series of 'The Tube' TV series available on DVD. Both the District Line DVDs, and The Tube DVDs, are double DVD packs, with full colour labels and covers. Anyone interested in either of the above should PM me for further details. As a side note, the cab ride DVDs are still being finalised to provide the best quality I can, but they should be ready in 3-4 weeks, ie mid-late April, all being well.

I am back at work tomorrow, so, all being well, hope to get the last parts I need filmed this week or next. Then I have to transfer the footage to the PC, edit it as appropriate, add subtitles etc. In addition I have a lot of work going on at home at the moment, which may delay things a little, but I would hope to have them ready by the end of April. If there are any major delays to this, I'll post a message here.

I assume you'll put a reply to say when they're ready.

I will certainly post further information when it is ready. Even as I type this the other computer is working hard to convert all the video footage as required Just so that you are aware of what is included - Disc one includes Upminster to Earl's Court, Earl's Court to Ealing Broadway, Ealing Broadway to Earl's Court, via Ealing Common depot (on a C stock ;D), Earl's Court to Wimbledon and Wimbledon to Earl's Court. Disc 2 includes High St. Ken. to Olympia, Olympia to High St. Ken., Earl's Court to Richmond, Richmond to Earl's Court and Earl's Court to Upminster. I have included all the footage, including the tunnel sections, (even though they are a bit too dark to see much ) for completeness. There are also some extra little pieces of footage for you to look out for!! All being well, they should be completed within the next week or so, but I will post a message confirming this once they are done

Yes - I realised that when I wrote it! Oh boy, is my face red! Don't worry Chris - we all make mistakes (cue comments about Hanger Lane junction.....) SB would do a video of it, if they ever let him near the route!

(cue comments about Hanger Lane junction.....) Since you mentioned it first perhaps SB ought to be thinking about including the Rayners Lane Branch as well as High St Ken/Edgware Road ;D

I'll film that bit the next time I go there That would be appreciated Jim, as, unlike some people around here, I've never been to South Harrow on a 'BIG' train ;D ;D. And the viewing perspective if filmed from a 'LITTLE' train would not match the rest of the filming ;D ;D

I've never been to South Harrow on a 'BIG' train I beleive the problem is remediable ;D.

Leave the poor man alone now please. Which one? There's more than one person has taken the extended route from Ealing Common westwards and return. Oh! Surely not? ;D Of course, if all District drivers were to read the HLJ guide (click on the link in my signature) they'd all be OK. ;D

Just a quick note to apologise to those awaiting further information on the DVDs. Unfortunately, due to some personal problems at the moment, I am unable to finish the editing at the moment. I hope the delay won't be too long, but it does mean that the release will be delayed, possibly by a few weeks. Once again, apologies to those of you awaiting the DVDs. I will post on here again when they are ready for release.

Obviously i'm not pleased that you're having personal problems at the moment, but i am rather pleased (in a wierd, twisted way) that the DVDs are delayed. I have GCSE's in a few weeks and i am (not to sound boastful) predicted all A's and A*'s so I really could do with minimal distractions at the moment.
Actually, you would be doing me a huge favour if you wouldn't sell me one until June 25th, regardless if i begin to beg! As I write this i am excersing a hell of a lot of self-discipline - but i REALLY need to revise so whatever I say/ask, please, please don't send me a copy.
Thanks alot

I asked him (Solidbond) a couple of days ago and he said they've had to take a back seat over the last couple of months, he hopes to do some more work on the later this month and see them finished.
