If the seats in the 2009TS/S stock are capable of being lifted to allow access to underfloor equipment, will they be fitted with intrusion sensors that will inform the T/Op that someone has been messing about with them?
Having noticed the green zipties all over the D stock seats, I was wondering if something more high-tech would be employed in the new trains. If not, then will there be at least some kind of visual indication to let the T/Op know that the seat may have been opened?

I asked that question somewhere in the 'SSR Newsline' thread - if I recall correctly, prjb stated that he'd rather not discuss the answer in public as it is a security issue.

I would expect that the indication of whether a seat is locked or open that was present on the 2009 stock mockup would also be present on the S, but this is not partiuclarly conspicuous from a distance.

LU move customers from A to B, they used to do it via 'C'.

The only boxed in seats on 'S' will be in the four corners so there are much less of them to worry about than on 09. All boxed in seats will be locked and have a visual indication to show that they are actually locked. As for other security methods, as Colin said, I hope you can respect the fact that I would rather not discuss this sort of issue on a public forum.
