Are there any plans to try to make regenerative braking work on either the Victoria Line or the SSL?

BUMP.
Given the current to-and-fro over renewable energy I would expect Metronet to at least pay lip service to the idea of making use of regen braking on the Victoria Line or the SSL. At the very least, using it on the former will make the tunnels much cooler, thus making the A/C more effective!

I thought this had been solved using the water pipe system that was rumoured to have been created as a result of Kenny L's competition.

LU move customers from A to B, they used to do it via 'C'.

Jim is correct, A/C will not feature in the saloons of 09ts trains.
Regen braking will be appearing on both the VLU and SSRU (with the exception of NR areas).

I would imagine that these days the gubbins needed to measure the voltage potential across two electrical poles in a single-phase low-voltage circuit can be made mobile. Richard Catlow of uk.railway would be the one to ask.

Yea, wot he said!
Regen braking is a bit of a mystery to me, just the same as where all the Bic pen lids go! ;D
