While walking past the Westfield Mall construction site at White City today, I got to wondering about whether or not Central Line T/Ops coming from White City would be seen in the mall food shopping during their break periods.
This reminded me that on the H&C, all crew reliefs are taken at Edgware Road, leading to a lot of time "on the cushions" for drivers on meal breaks. Do other lines have similar strictures, or are there multiple break rooms available?

At a guess it would... saves going to KFC or the Local Sainsburys...

Most Central line reliefs are either White City or Leytonstone. Many drivers choose to get take aways from the surrounding eateries instead of sarnies or canteen fodder

I avoid the canteen like the plague... and not just because of the food quality either!

I normally bring sarnies in as I'm a tight wad.

District wise, meal reliefs can be taken at any of the four depots - though most are at Earls Court (if I were to have a guess, I'd say at least 70%).
