Trouble with LU is that the infraco's haven't woken up to the problem and start spending £££'s.
In the morning, most Metro's get dumped on the train or at a Z1 station. Z1 stations mostly have at least one cleaner on duty.
The evening rags get dumped on the train but in the outer zone stations, which sadly don't always have full-time cleaners.
Dumped papers are not only a fire risk, but a trip/ slip hazard.
From an enviromental angle, the infraco's have been very slow in getting their cleaning contractors to recycle the waste.
12 tons of recyclable waste is much better than 12 tons of land fill.

I can always remember a game T/Ops used to play at Morden, called... see if you can take the cleaner for a ride to South Wim...

Still happens ;D
Trouble is cleaners are getting wise to the idea.
Another variety I've personally experienced,
Who can take the Supervisor into the siding.

It was easier before the 95ts were modded... if you pressed the Doors close buttons in a sequence, the chimes would not sound... which caught them unawares...
