While it's not 100% LU, I've dug out my open day pack from a looonngg time ago, scanned it and repacked it as a PDF file. Have a look at: www.cooperhayden.co.uk/TTF/DLR/OpenDayBooklet.pdf3.9MB - Better to Right-Click and Choose 'Save As..'Its part of a package that included the first edition of the DLR handbook and the tourist leaflets, showing all the points of interest along the (then) three route axis. |

They were sold to Germany - they're running in Essen these days.

Blimey, I went on DLR in 1988, I've got some slides somewhere. I went to Docklands for that massive Jean Michel Jarre concert, which IIRC was in 1987, the area has changed so much. I remember those original trains having inward opening doors. Nice one ID  |
