Hi all. Does anyone know if a 4th series of The Tube has been commissioned, or even filmed? Cheers, HEx Dave

I thought people might think that... ;D I've now added 3x? That's a shame. Might try getting in contact with Mosaic Films, although they seem to have been quite dormant recently.

I dont think their are plans for a 4th series. You could argue the three series have covered the tube fairly well.
A new series would be good, but dont let it dwell on new Sa's/T/ops.

What is needed is some existing CSA's (maybe in a ticket office) with a visit to the Station Control Room ;D ;D An episode with an ATO theme would be good, with a drive on the Central and one on the Vic, before the 67's get withdrawn Some news on the Jubbly automation could go on it too. I think a lot of LU has been covered by the three series already done, but some vibrant ideas could be interesting

They MUST feature in every LU programme EVER More on behind the scenes stuff would be good, but LU want people to think everything is okay, whereas it is far from it

I remember [it might have been series 3] it showed the Met control room which I found personally fascinating. A few minute snippet wasnt enough though.
I daresay LU wanted to show the public what a typical day was like, problem is LU doesnt allow filming on its property showing fare evasion, assault etc. So in some ways it is a sanitized version of LU.
Yes!!!!!!
Control room would be very good! Just make sure the DSM isnt on it, always hogs the limelight, so no other staff get a look in! [some know who I mean!]

Ahh, but Mr MyStation did demonstrate how Doubling Through is accomplished, this is in effect promotion of Fare Evasion... I'd like a Series 4 to be made, yes more of the Central would be good...

I know, a bit like matey at Victoria telling the world he lets old folk through the barriers without checking any tickets I think more of the Central would be great, and as for Service Control, it could feature somone at Earls Court pointing and saying: "This was the part that was so old we had to get the spare parts from the museum!!!!!" ;D ;D ;D Different opening and closing titles would be better - the ones from ITV 'Frost Tonight' would be quite fitting.

Or maintenance at Stonebridge Park, with the fitters saying we have to get the spares off Ebay...
Oh, yes... Matey at Vic "Oh I don't check the old folks tickets, as they always have one"
Then whats he go and do?
I know him; lives up Leytonstone way!

More like pressing the buttons and nothing happening, but that would apply at many control rooms. Or having to explain to the TV that we sometimes have Station Assistants on the platforms relaying train numbers to the Service Operators/Controllers

Oh yes I know the sa at Victoria, some staff I know have had the misfortune to share a cab with him............ ;D
To say he almost bored them to death with his conversation would be an understatement! ;D
He is right about the old people though, 99% have a ticket.

Most have Freedom passes which isn't too bad, only thing with that is Mon - Fri they can't use it before 09:00. The passes save a lot of problems though.

Or we can spend a night with a SAMF at a busy station like Ruislip Gardens ;D
Or could follow me right now:
SS has booked on contractors, eats a pack of biscuits, drinks from a bottle of Diet Coke.
