This clip has some superb views .... appologies if it has been posted elsewhere ! Unless I am mistaken that clip is taken from an LT film entitled 'All that mighty heart'. Great shots of Leicester Square control room there in Transad House as it was. When I first saw that control room it was already defunct but still in situ! The District would've moved to Earls Ct I suspect by the time the film was completed or soon afterwards and the Met to the old control room at Baker Street I think at around the same time. I think Leicester Square was the tube control room in its last days with the Northern moving to Cobourg St around the same time as the Victoria Line opened I expect. I'm not sure if the Picc went to Earls Ct at the same time as the District or slightly later but I wouldn't be surprised. I don't know about the Central and Bakerloo control rooms at that time, I first encountered them at Baker St in the 1970s. Brian
