Friend of mine just sent me this link, to some fantastic pics taken by a guy called Robert Stainforth - many apologies if this has already been posted, but I did do a search and couldn't find anything referring to it... Don't show them as a slide show otherwise the comments don't display. Loads of great pics of the disused tunnels relating to the CCE&HR from 1907-14, inc a short vid on Youtube walking through one of the tunnels. Some lovely abstract shots as well, and some JLE ones. |

Presumably all the cables heading towards Melton St in the tunnels are ultimately heading up towards Cobourg St Control Room?
Can remember thinking that when stood outside on the surface with angelislington.

Some wonderful pictures there that I have not seen before...
That in picture 8, the grille is at the top of a set of stairs which I believe leads down to the south end of the NB Bank branch platform...
That in picture 21, is a view at the top ot the tunnel, of the same platform...

Hello, I'm the photographer who took the photos of the Euston Tunnels, I'd like to say thankyou for your kind comments. The site has been a labour of love and I'm amazed at the responce it's received. I'm happy to answer any questions you may have.
