Hi Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask but does anybody know anything about the website tubefacts.com? It seems to have disappeared over the past few months which is a bit of a shame. I had an email from them a few months ago with details of an upcoming book which was supposed to be available in August of this year detailing with the signalling arrangements of the ex-Metropolitan Railway including signalling plans over the years - obviously this was right up my street interest wise so wise looking forward to its publication. I have the book they have aready done on the early history of Underground signalling and enjoyed this but alas seems destined to be the only offering from this promising publisher.. I have tried emailing them at tubefacts@yahoo.co.uk but have got no response nor has the mail been returned... (and whilst typing this my beloved black beast Smokey has just jumped onto my bed with a still-live vowel in his mouth and 'presented' it to me. Said vowel was not keen on being a present and has made a break for freedom and ran off into the depths of my room )

Found out a while ago that due to continuing problems, they have had to shut up shop, though unfortunately they didnt bother to tell anyone! A couple of its members are hoping to relaunch something similar using the original book and expanding to more titles where tubefacts left off but there seems to be problems over gaining control from the 'problem' members involved, so dont know when this will happen. Hopefully some time soon cos i was waiting for part 2 as well!

I presume that Tubefacts.com has gone for good now then. It is a shame as I had their original offering and was awaiting part 2 which was to include the Piccadilly line.
Perhaps someone else will do the research and take up the challenge at some point. There can never be enough books about the history of LT Signalling.
