I like the descriptions for the train called "Hammersmith" and his twin brother "City" - fast and furious trains that always like outsmart each other!

'Circle' - is very laid-back and her favourite colour is green. A laid-back Circle train, surely not ;D

Perhaps TfL don't want to make folk think that staff are non-stop tea drinkers?

Yes, but tea runs the railway, not the staff!

Wot, no District?
I saw the trailer for this, and I have to say I found some sinister about the animation. Map purists won't be happy with all those curves down at the bottom! They also need a character called Signaller Stress for that mess around International Underground station!
;D ;D

now why would the producers want to ruin a perfectly good programme by having the green line featured ;D ;D ;D

;D I've now seen episode one of Underground Ernie (ahem), and while it's no Thomas the Tank Engine, I would bet that it's going to be popular. The theme tune and other tunes are clearly designed for release as singles / an album like Bob the Builder. Hmm, what a coincidence- the popularity will have built just in time for the inevitable merchandise this Christmas.
