Oh it brings back memories of of Terry Neville (God rest him) when working at Wembley Park Cabin in push button days. He decided to see how many pre-select routes he could set up and then watch them cancel one-by-one. He went down the TT list and managed to set up TWENTY SEVEN. He then sat back and watched each train go through the routes so selected. which took about 30 minutes I believe.
I remember another occasion when a relief signalman was pre-selecting routes at Upminster cabin and somehow managed to get the scissors crossover to platforms 3/4 to CENTRE and so put those platforms out of use for a good while. Nobody knew how he did it.

It's a good site but not 100% accurate, and in no way a complete list of all frames. It did have a few interesting photos though...

BUMP.
The section on Edgware Road is quite fascinating - is Edgware Road the only K-style frame left?
I sure do hope that the cabin is preserved in situ like Loughton, if possible - an 81-year-old frame (and climbing) is quite a gem!

Interesting - compared to the maintenance of the N, N2 and V style frames still in use on LU, how hard is it to keep the frame at Edgware Road working?

Pass - I never worked with the locking fitters.
