There Good pictures there mate,but you didn't go into the Depot but that doesn't matter at least you got to se the depot.

Remebering seeing it as a kid and was like wow! As I ued to live min or two from Blackhorse Road the Victoria was what go me interested in the Tube. Main aim was to get some pics of the 09 stock. sorta achieved my aim!

Main aim was to get some pics of the 09 stock. sorta achieved my aim! I was a kid still in primary school when Northumberland Park Depot was built. I used to live in Tottenham in the early 1960s and we used to play on Tottenham marshes at the weekend. I recall watching the navvies exiting the tunnel on flat cars on Saturdays, in those days there wasn't too much around except the River Lea and lots of boggy waste ground. I only worked in the depot a few times, in the Tower, in the Pump Room nearby and in the sheds but I also got to walk both tunnels from Seven Sisters to the depot when surveying the Victoria line for the installation of the Texscan train radio system that replaced the Carrier Wave system.
