Ok, I know this not LU, but we have quite a few fans of 89 001 here. Admins/ board police, please feel free to re-home this thread as you see fit. Anyway, my photo shows 89 001 with an HST at Kings Cross, on Feb 18, 1989, about to return to Leeds. From memory, it worked one return trip each day from Leeds to Kings Cross, as the power wasn't on to York then (I think). Enjoy! (comments please)

Thanks for that- nice shot, and a good reminder of old liveries. That said, I think that 89001 looks a lot better in the GNER livery than that one.
