This fabulous clerestory-roofed stock was running on the Madrid Metro in 1990...
The clerestory section of the roof was unglazed, as were the upper half of the saloon windows. The seats had big slats underneath them, through which you could see the wheels.
When I returned in 1993, they were all gone
