Great pics!
Are any of the (IIRC 1973) old rubber-tyred trains still in service? Out of interest, why do they have steel running rails as well as the 'track' for the tyres?

Great pics! Are any of the (IIRC 1973) old rubber-tyred trains still in service? Out of interest, why do they have steel running rails as well as the 'track' for the tyres? The MP73s run on Line 6. MP59s run on Line 4 and Line 11. The ones on Line 4 and Line 11 and are due for replacement soon, with Line 4's being replaced with Line 1's MP89s (which are being replaced with driverless MP05s), and Line 11 getting new MP05s. Steel running rails are retained for current return, guidance through switches, in case of flat tyres, and for non-pneu stock to run if need be on pneu lines (e.g engineering trains, and railtours).
