9th & 10th December Amersham- Harrow OTH closed.
16th & 17th December Amersham- Harrow OTH closed
" " " Acton Town- Uxbridge (Picc) closed.
6th & 7th January Charing Cross branch closed.
" " " Earl's Ct- Whitechapel closed.
14th & 15th " Charing Cross branch closed.

I hope the Watford-Northwood closures go ahead - that will probably be the first time that site has been used intensively for some time. Plus it's a chance to do some track bashing ;D

I am curious though about the closure on the 20th-21st January to renew No.7 crossover at Tower Hill - why can't section switches be opened to allow reversals at Mansion House? Likewise, why would services through the Aldgate triangle be similarly curtailed?

During the week they are reversing at Mansion House,it's only at the weekend that the District is closed,just had another look it's only Saturday the H & C is terminating at Aldgate,on Sunday 21st there is a boosted H & C service to Barking but still no Circles or Met.

The Northwood-Watfor work must be for the new Watford South Junction, which will be a bit further south than at present.

Ooooh, shiny!

Are they decreasing the junction angle to increase the speeds? Presumably they are also completely relaying the pointwork, which has gotten extremely noisy and bumpy.

What about the North and West Junctions of the triangle?
