why did LUL decide not to keep at least 1 car as it was for heritage reasons, I got told somewhere that there were plans to have a 2 car unit as it was with the rest as they are now, what happened with these plans?

Looks like they all got refurbed. They're only 15 years old, no point in keeping one unrefurbed.

Indeed, since they were near enough exactly the same as the Central 92ts bar the armrests. |

Indeed, since they were near enough exactly the same as the Central 92ts bar the armrests. The Central 92s had armrests from new, the yobbos soon realised that by kicking them the bolts snapped off along with the armrests. Eventually all armrests were removed. |
