on the refurb 92ts can the blinds be changed or are they fixed at Waterloo and Bank? the reason I ask is whenever I see the back a train leave the station it still reads the station it has just left.

You couldn't take it to Ognar- the Drain is a self contained little railway with special trains.

In the late 1990s the 92ts were having some problems and one of which was dot-matrix screens that kept failing. What they did was take the dot matrixes out of the W+C and put stickers on instead.

The W&C 92ts used to be able to display all the destinations as on the Centrals 92ts; theya re the same after all... As an aside, the 92ts on the Central, got Waterloo and Bank as destinations too!
The DMI on the WW&C examples have been replaced with brightly coloured yellow on black strips of card as destinations, the actual dot matrix displays have probably been removed to replace the ones on the Central.

In which case, they'll be a nice thick wall to stop you...

The 92TS in my opinion is one of the most esthetically pleasing TS with those sexy curved windows. Wish the new Victoria stock had the same look. Really nice pictures!!

I notice that these trains have the line sticker on each end. Why don't the 92s on the Central have a "Central line" line sticker on them?

Just an aside but, in the early '90s, when BR was replaceing the old SR stock with new stuff and resignalling the line at a cost of £23million the posters publicising the work used the slogan 'Banking on a better railway'. I would have thought that a better one would have been '£23million down 'The Drain''!
