While reading about the history of London Bridge I came across an interesting blurb which stated that the London Bridge Shard, a new building to be built on the footprint of an existing one, was slated to become the new headquarters of TfL.
What is wrong with 55 Broadway? Is it too small?

TfL deals with more than buses and the underground and, afaik, is spread across the capital in various buildings. Putting it all in one place makes it easier to aim the missiles of retribution.

55 Broadway is LUL's headquarter's.
TfL is quite a different animal - and as A Good Cuppa say's, it uses buildings all over London, including Broadway. It certainly makes sense to put it all under one roof and have Broadway exclusive to LUL.
