The new wheel lathe for SMD has arrived from Germany and is sitting on 44rd,let's hope it's more reliable than the German train wash!!!

Karchner make the train wash,have to find out about the lathe,asked Alstom,but they say it's only on lease for the first year so the makers will be operating it,if it seems O.K. then Alstom will take over the operation.

They also make pressure washers! they seem to be quite good, as I have one for cleaning my balcony and windows!

They should stick to pressure washers the train wash is absolute s***e.

Does it put more dirt onto the trains than what was there in the first place...? Is it one of those eco-friendly water recycling ones?
