Did hear over the radio a few weeks ago a test train left smd and travelled up to stanmore and then back to smd.Train called test train 701 about 1500 hours can't remember the date.Train ops have alot of reservations about the ATO on the jub!!!

Regular test runs occur, especially overnight. What a joy they are.
The trial running is already occuring during the overnight running. Early December is the date we have for the daytime running on the DFA.
What reservations do you have? Whatever they are, you should know the Jub by now. If it's going to happen it will - whether they have planned the outcomes or not.
At least the north end DFA is only running for around 6 months.

DCA where is that in SMD??
Is that the new shed that has been built on roads 9 and 10??
When you say signed off does that mean that the upgrades have been carried out ready for ATO??

004-003 now stopped for ATO mods. For Kenp76's benefit, the shed on 9,10 & 11rds is the temporary fit out shed(TFOS) where ATO mods are carried out.The DCA is at the back of the maintenance shed where the P.Way sdgs used to be.

How is the new ato equipment and signaling on the jubille and central lines differ from the victoria line counterpart and are they compatible?

Not sure how the Central system works, the Victoria system works on coded track circuits 420 clear ahead,270 equivilent to running on yellows-also restart from signal stop,180 stop at signal,120 train does not regognise code trip valve operates. The Jubilee system operates on induction loops and the train in effect carries its' block along with it.
