Any major engineering work on the LUL network this weekend? Am over in London and curious if anywhere is likely to be tricky to get to...

Central: No service Marble Arch to West Ruislip/Ealing Broadway due to track replacement and White City development work. Lancaster Gate station is closed for refurbishment until November. St. Paul's station is closed for refurbishment this weekend. Northern: No service between Camden Town and East Finchley and between Finchley Central and Mill Hill East due to engineering work. Piccadilly: Piccadilly line trains will not stop at King's Cross St. Pancras on Saturday 23 September only due to engineering work. Victoria: No service between Warren Street and Highbury & Islington on Sunday 24 September only due to engineering work. Use alternative Tube and bus routes. W&C:No service due to engineering work. Use alternative Tube routes. The line is closed on Sundays. And of course Regent's Park on the Bakerloo is closed. Hope that helps Edit: More info here on replacement buses etc.: www.tfl.gov.uk/tfl/realtime/default.asp?time=weekend&line=all&station=all&mode=tube

According to the latest traffic circular, the Northern will be suspended on sunday from Moorgate to Stockwell. Its not on tube website. Has it been cancelled?

Well my weekly TfL e-mail and the website don't mention anything about Moorgate to Stockwell, so guess the work must've been cancelled.

I was too lazy to find the info on tfl's site...!! It's a lot easier to find out about weekend closures on the tube's own website, than on a message board!

although not TfL, isn't the NLL between Camden and Gunnersbury closed this weekend, with replacement buses and an interesting North Woolwich-Queen's Park service?

It is indeed Amershamsi, as for the N Woolwich-Queens Park service, wouldnt it continue to Willesden? [low level in the bay platforms] This is what it usually does.

TB, I gather from GENSHEET that they were not reversing in the bay at Willesden Junction. Hower, although 1000% off-topic, here's one you may never see again: green SR-liveried slammer normally at home Brockenhurst-Lymington, or occasionally turned via Eastleigh, in the bay at Southampton Central. There is engineering work west of New Milton, and yesterday I think it was a a vehicle hit one of the bridges on the branch. www.nostalgiaroad.co.uk/slammer.jpg

Yep, it was cancelled almost straight after the short notice closure was approved and put in the TC. The closure will be rescheduled for a few weeks time I believe.

Good, then they can hand over the High Barnet/Mill Hill East branch back to my capable hands! ;D I bet there will be works on the Northern part of the Piccadilly when they finish. Oh well, its all for a better system in the long run!
