Whilst trawling through u.t.l. looking for a post about signalbox codes for BAET I came across the following list of two-letter codes for the JLE:
TF Green Park TG Charing Cross TH Waterloo TJ London Bridge TK Canada Water TL Canary Wharf TM North Greenwich TN Canning Town TP Southwark TR Bermondsey TU West Ham TW Stratford TY Stratford Market Depot
Now, that looks thoroughly wrong (and out of order to boot!). Did all the stations on the JLE really get assigned consecutive two-letter codes, and if so, did they really get assigned in the above order?

TY Stratford Market Depot is between West Ham and Stratford. TU West Ham TY SMD TW Stratford Thanks DWS. What about the others, like Bermondsey?

The codes I have in my 'line knowledge book' from a few years ago are as follows:
Green Park - TF (Charing Cross = TG) Waterloo = TH Southwark = TP London Bridge = TJ Canada Water = TK Canary Wharf = TL North Greenwich = TM Canning Town = TN West Ham = TU Stratford = TW* SMD = TY
* TU/TW border is adjacent to the staff halt.
So, your list is correct! I'm not sure why Southwark should be allocated a TP code! As you say, it looks completely out of place while the rest are consecutive!

May be it was simply an afterthought? Like so much of the JLE ;D I suppose TN is a good example - as 3518+3227 said of the JLE signalling on u.t.l. (and I quote), "Not to mince words, it's rubbish!" _Why_ was TN even used in the first place anyway? AFAICT the code is only used for the signals on either side of the floodgates; shouldn't the signals be called FJX?
