we were talking about it on chat. The fact the train is a D and sounds like a 96 and that the driver made one announcment in the 10 minute wait.

I've just noticed the refurb D78 has unfurb door 'Press to Open' buttons.

and that the door open buttons were still in place
on the first bit of the scene it made the 'chopper' GTO sounds.

It looks rubbishy to me, authentic seats though.

It sounded like a D stock in the last bit, Rob. Also, the CIS is wrong - the scrolling display is quite clearly ..... not D-stocky!

i know, but on the first bit it was the 96.... etc.
And the lights went out as well over the points.

I have a suspicion that this was some sort of mock up - maybe donated to Eastenders for their use. Shame thay spoilt the whole thing with the 96 sounds The anouncement gap was also unrealistic, but i'd accept 'artistic licence' here as the scene's were about Billy going through a life changing experience and meeting someone whose life had also been 'turned on it's head' - it's not as if it was 'The Tube' or such like!

Eastenders often use the noises from a 96 stock whilst using a District train don't they?
