At ECT today facing you as you enter station on ECT RD entrance.. is a big poster saying Vic line evening suspensions are over, thanks for patience etc etc. But when I got to Victoria the entrances were still closed off to the Vic line. Whats going on?

The TfL site gives Thursday 22nd of November as the last day of the evening suspensions, and the live disruption map did show this earlier. My guess is that either you misread the poster slightly, or it was put up a day early.

The next fun and frolics at Victoria start soon. The temporary ticket office and station supervisors office looks nearly done (by the taxi rank). And I'm guessing that weekend closures will be ongoing.

The posters were sent out to plotters yesterday so, yes, I think it's just a case of an overzealous member of staff...!

The problem is with this carelessness, is that potentially it could cause many people disruption.. i.e. say if just 5 train drivers saw it at ECT, those 5 drivers may announce that Vic line now running OK (if they didn't notice the gate closed which sometimes you don't), on each train 20 passengers may alight based on that information and try and change for the vic (rather than continuing to a different station to get a mainline train or bus) and be rather inconvenienced! Thus station staff getting grief... just because one poster was put up by mistake at ECT
