I have some questions about the withdrawn 67 stock DM 3016.
1. What caused it to be withdrawn, was it the result of a collision or fire damage or something else?
2. Is it still at the Pump House museum in Walthamstow? The last I heard of it was that the owner was going to scrap it.

It collided with the stops in Northumberland Park Depot, was a Trainmen's Inspector giving a refresher course to ATO'S,don't know the exact details of what happened, lets just say he was expecting the overloads to be tripped and they weren't.Apparently it was quite nasty,he got his foot trapped and had to be released by Fire Brigade/ERU,now walks with a permanent limp.

A Trainmens Inspector was a white shirt grade, it was done away with some years ago. We now have Instructor Operators ( a blue shirt grade).

A Trainmens Inspector was a white shirt grade, it was done away with some years ago. that is not strictly true , the grade wasnt actually done away with , they just changed the name and the job description . they are now called stock instructors

I traveled on the renumbered 3016 yesterday morning during the chaos on the VL due to signal failure at Highbury - it took 40+ minutes to get from Stockwell to Green Park Anyway, what was this car's original number? - it looked like the internal rear number plate had been changed a couple of times despite that fact that I think it must have been renumbered pre-refurbishment as the original 3016 is in unrefurbed condition at the Pump House museum.

It was originally 3116 turned round, the new 3116 is an ex Northern Line 72Mk1 car,I believe it was one of the alternative livery trial units. There were three running on the Northern in the 90's.

The original 3016 is the only 67 stock vehicle still in unrefurbished condition.
