Once again the Victoria is Part Suspended this evening, yay!
How can it be that a load of Metronet and non-Metronet related incidents all occur within weeks of each other, causing total chaos on the line? Before some weeks ago it seemed a very reliable (if overcrowded) line, now it's the pits! You never know, the Northern might lose its 'Misery' tag before long!

Sorry, call me thick or something, but I fail to see how a one-under can possibly be laid at Metronet's door.

Of course Metronet cannot be blamed for one-unders, I was just commenting on the fact that a lot of issues have suddenly happened in a short space of time when before it was unusual (but I agree not unheard of, I've been chucked off at Seven Sisters before) for the Victoria to have problems.

The Vic has had a bad couple of weeks. However due to having no branches and high number of tph, it does recover fairly quickly. The one under I understand was particularly bad, we needed the Btp at my station, but being a non-emergency and due to the incident at Tottenham Hale, they could not attend.

Has the trailing crossover at Victoria been put back into action yet? It was/has been out of use for some time, resulting in suspensions between Victoria and Warren Street also suspending the service South of Victoria.

Yes, 15A points were recommissioned about six weeks or so ago, and Coasting Control was removed on the Green Park to Victoria SB stretch at the same time.
I had to draw the new sheets for Victoria IMR's bookwiring detailing the new arrangements.

Put simply, track geometry issues. PM me if you want further info.
