If the Northern Heights scheme had gone ahead, would it have meant a radical re-alignment of the Victoria Line route?Would they have still done an interchange at Finsbury Pk,or would they have moved the interchange with the Picc to Manor House?

The general consensus I've seen is that the only reason the Northern City Line terminated below FP was due to the falling out between the two companies. When they were nationalised, the original plan was to have finally been implemented with the NC line rising to the surface platforms used by the Edgware branch using the built (but unused until the 1970's BR takeover of the branch) ramps, before continuing on to Highgate and beyond.
The FP tunnels were always gpoing to end up as part of the Victoria, as whilst only built in the 60's, was planned long before that, even conceptually as far back as when the Northern Heights plans were set in motion, or indeed earlier.

I thought they only built a test section of tunnel in the Manor House area in the early 60's and this was incorperated into the Victoria Line.
