CARRIS - The Lisbon public transport operator, used to publish one like that of the tram system in the early ninetees. Most tourists would be totally stumped if LUL had a map like that

I can hear the customers now if we went to that style.
"Why was my train delayed. Look, according to this map, my Amersham to Aldgate train could have crossed over to the Jubilee Line at Neasden, run down that, crossed over to the Bakerloo line at Baker Street...."
Our aim is to give a fair amount of information to our customers, but there are some things they really do not need to know.

Our aim is to give a fair amount of information to our customers, but there are some things they really do not need to know. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! I can just inagine that citysig ;D ;D ;D

A while ago Line maps were made for engineering trains showing things like the Picc connection to the Northern at kings cross. I don't know if they still exist though.

How come German miles are one and a half times bigger than English miles - or is that the other way round. "1.6km ende" surely. ;D
