When the old Yerkes station building on Dover Street was destroyed, what did they do with the lift shafts? The bottom of the shafts appear to be in use as storage - are the shafts themselves being used, a la Shperherds Bush and friends, as a great big cable conduit?

I remember changing trains from the Jubilee to the Picc there a while back and needing to walk miles to do so. I was travelling from Westminster to Covent Garden and I think I'd have walked less far if I got a circle or district to Embankment and then the Northern to Leicester Sqaure and walked from there!

Ah, if going from the Picc stay at the back of the train (going East) and front (West), go up the escalators to the Ticket Hall Circulating Area and then back down, saves time and walking....which is good ;D
