.....Bottled water ;D In a rather pathetic PR stunt for the past few days Metromess have been giving away free bottles of water at a Zone 1 station. At least they think of customers, when your delayed by all their asset and infrastructure failures. i60.photobucket.com/albums/h20/c5pictures/DSC00093.jpg

Oh, so that's who was trying to thrust them in our faces all day. I walked past on principle. As with the other lot who were also giving away water - as long as you bought a substandard.

Grrr......I wanted to post that first!!! Indeed I was very surprised whilst at Earls Court yesterday evening, I noticed an empty bottle on the floor with Metronet on it. I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me!!! Nice bit of blurb about the tube on the back. Very nice

What's the difference between asset and infrastructure? Assets are 'liquid'. The infrastructure is the other stuff...

What's the difference between asset and infrastructure? Infrastructure is that which is needed to do the job. An asset is something that is worth money and can be sold. A company's assets include its infrastructure and the infrastructure is a part of the company's assets. What this means is that it's not a difference between one and the other. The terms are applicable to differenct activities. "Infrastructure" relates to operations and engineering. "Assets" relates to finance.

Call me naive, but maybe giving out free water can reduce the number of people feeling ill on a train and pulling the emergency alarm, thus reducing delays?
