At Wembley, if 2 out of the 5 sidings were removed and the track re-aligned, I'm sure they will accommodate an 8 car S Stock.

Well the expense has been made, so better to get something out of them! Shame nobody worked out the lengths before building! How likely is it that S7s could be stored there?

Left with 3, well worth the expense as metman has said, it would be a total waste of money if the sidings were just abandoned.

It was a waste of money refurbishing the sheds all those years ago. they must have been empty for at least 10 years. Neasden depot has plenty of spare roads that can accomodate trains

Yes, the north sheds were refurbished-then knocked down-then built too short! Not the finest hour!

What sums up the modern climate is that none of the above comes as a surprise any more!

Again in hindsight, but what a great way to spend the budget. ;D

Good to see all five sidings with A stock in tonight. Get some use out of them!

Since Sunday night and possibly through to the end of the week, expect to see the sidings very heavily used.
A signalling problem within Neasden depot means the operation of the depot as a whole has become restricted. So some "strategic" movement of trains has taken place, so that certain trains out-stable in Wembley Sidings overnight and start from there in the morning.
