Why is it that Circle Line drivers, after completing station duties at Gloucester Road w/b, will often close the doors and depart the platform despite the fact that the junction signal to cross the e/b District is red?
I have often been on e/b Districts that cross the junction, and you can see an Outer Rail Circle sitting at the junction stick, with two cars still in the platform! Wouldn't it be better for the Outer Rail Circles to remain in the platform until both sticks clear, thus allowing easy cross-platform interchange between the e/b District and Outer Rail Circle?
At South Kensington w/b, a train waiting at the junction signal for the w/b divergence only occupies enough track circuits to hold the inner home at red, thus allowing the outer home to clear and creating a non-ALARP situation; for this reason, the I/Ops teach newbies to remain in the platform until the route is set across the divergence (this also lets more people on the train). Does the same apply at Gloucester Road w/b?

nope EE225 the signal at the end of the tunnel is approach controlled and needs the track before the signal to be down to allow the signal to clear

Is this still the junction stick for w/b Districts at Gloucester Road? With EE225 protecting the crossing over the e/b District? Just curious, like ;D

ee230 is the circle line platform starter route 1 over to the district w/b,route 2 up towards ee225 which protects the crossover

There has been some argument in the past about this signal and whether or not drivers need the 2nd right after stopping at it. A recent circular has gone out from management saying there's some kind of dispensation from the HMRI meaning we dont have to. The term ALARP is used I recall. However if you were to be pulled down or lose your pilot light leaving Gloucester road then you would still need a 2nd right under existing rules... Same thing at Hammersmith depot, when you pull up at the stop board you still have a car or so in the platform, imagine telling all those late turn blokes finishing that they need to get a 2nd right! ;D

Ealing Common is another, if you are routed to the left of the shunters cabin.
