Has Metronet lost the plot at Hammersmith with regards to staff relations, in the same way that they did at Neasden?
Every time I check the TfL Realtime pages it always states that the Circle Line is delayed due to "lack of available trains", which makes me think that the 14 trains it uses are being poached for the H&C and Wimbleware services due to lack of available trains from Hammersmith.

Nobody mentioned anything about this at work. There were a few Circles out today, but then there's a few Circles out every day...
I know they have pulled all the road fitters back into the depot for some reason or another, but what its for I can't tell you. Although it is noticeably harder to get a fitter at Edgware Rd recently.

As far as I know, Hammersmith is not experiencing the same Issues as at Neaden.
There are currently a number of cancellations for non-availabilty of stock, but this is down to a high number of stopped cars for various reasons; outstanding defects, the 7th July and possibly that one that smacked the stops recently. Plus anything that happens during the day. Some of the Daytime Start-ups have been reformed so that they have not gone back to depot (unless Metronet insist), this may also affect their situation.
A nice 4 day shutdown of the Circle for engineering works might help!

this proberly won't go down to well but reading last night they cancelled a train due to the cab heater being too weak Depends if it had been booked before (and ignored). My son had exactly the same with one of their buses yesterday. Booked at least 5 times for defective heater (saloon AND cab). Fitters did nothing. So the guy that took over from Simon yesterday failed it. When told there wasn't a spare, made it an H&S issue. Finally was given a 35 seater for a peak-hour double-deck duty. When Simon finished back at the depot last night the bus was on the pit...........

yes i did sort it and yes it was me who removed 158 points out of commission thus taking 157 points out aswell this was due to a missing bearing on a vital bit of equipment so safety first i take the cautionous way of removing them from use we replaced this piece of equipment last night and all is good and well they are actually moving alot better now since they have been installed the 3 trains out of use was 2 circle trains and 1 district i actually got a thank you by lul and metronet for being so vigilant (makes a change) and finding this fault

AET may I make an independent observation please? As you know my grandfather was a P/way engineer and member of the Permanent Way Institute..his membership certificate I had somewhere and it had LT roundels in the margin! I myself have not only operated points but actually laid track. I know from experience what can happen if you get things wrong, and it does not require much thunking power to suggest what could have happened had there been a failure underneath a train as it exited the sidings. So well done there!
