I've got a day out with an I.O. coming up next week, can anybody inform me of exactly where I need to go to book on?
Many thanks.

top of the stairs from platform 3 & 4, before barriers. brown door on your left. j-door key or buzz in. through the next 2 doors immediately in front of you and you cant miss the DMT desk - it's the one with the person in the white shirt having a nervous breakdown!

If you do get stuck, the station staff are normally pretty good and will "sort you out" ;D ;D ;D Was it your choice to go to Edgware Road or was it decided for you? If you really want a train ops job, I would take everything you are told with a pinch of salt when it comes to H&C/Circle drivers cos they [understanably] hate doing Circles and may end giving you a less than favourable impression. I don't mean that in a nasty sense (just cos I'm on the District), it's just that whenever I've had anything to do with them, they're always less than happy

The good thing about being with an I/O from ERD is that the C stock are quite mechanical, and if you end up having a technical discussion you should grasp quite a bit about rolling stock principles. I know that on the DR the C stock is the first stock that someone will train on, as it is harder to learn about than D stock (no TMS, two air systems, older train etc).

LU move customers from A to B, they used to do it via 'C'.

Don't believe a word of it! Edgware Road is a good depot, and you will certainly learn more about the "real world" here than you might at other locations. There's a few miserable gits floating about but every line has a few and you don't have to talk to them anyway. I expect you will enjoy the day.
