Saw a C Stock on the deck by the outlet signal from Hammersmith depot yesterday lunchtime. Never seen so many hivi's! The train was on it's way out of 2 road when what looks like the front bogey came off. Dunno the circumstances though.  |

Was this derailment the cause of the "earlier police action at Hammersmith" causing severe delays on the H&C and Circle, minor delays on the Met and the suspension of the District north of HSK?

no. i believe that was a security alert at hammersmith.

The derailment was the day before the security alert.
This was a SPAD and the trap-points there did the job and stopped the train.
On Friday there was a security alert between Goldhawk Road and Hammersmith, which required the suspension of train services.
