Is the Vic closure part of VLU, or just routine stuff?

Believe it's the start of VLU work, there's closures virtually every weekend till at least the end of October and probably beyond.

Can't remember where I saw it, but the Vic closure is definately the start of the line upgrade work. As towerman says, this will happen every weekend for some time to come.

If you travel along the Victoria Line, and the train stops between stations (as is common in rush hour and when approaching termini), it's quite easy to spot the shiny new brackets for new cabling along the tunnel wall.

The Met and Jub closure is connected with the restoration of the direct link between Wembley Park platform 6 and the depot reception road.
However, red tape and the like (like Tubelines ommitting to sign a couple of important documents) may prevent it going ahead.
Obviously don't go making any plans to use the sections which would have been closed, as they may sign everything up at the last minute.

I'd imagine that because of things like us awkward train ops needing 28 days notice to change our duties, the possessions will go ahead as booked regardless. AFAIK it's already happened twice at the east end of the Central line.
